On/Off operation

Dogwoodbangbang I just picked one of these up. I have one of the metal key fob lights that worked great for the past year, so I saw this and it was exactly what I was looking for. On/Off tail switch, AA battery, metal construction without paying for the brand name of others. Try it out!

Nightlight is on when set on nightlight/charge but goes off when I plug into socket. Why?
That's so when your power goes out your light turns on.

i like to know why is it when i push the on button the light flickers or hesitates at times regardless of new batteries?
Maybe you had your alkaline batteries in for too long and there was corrosion.
