Great product but needs more info on directions

Glenn I just got this for xmas. Its working great but it has one flaw for me. Took for ever to figure out how to get the case off. The directions only show how to operate not how to take your phone out. I would have given 5 stars had it showed instead of playing with it for hours to figure out a way to get it out.

When I plug the case in it doesnt charge. Help
I bought two and when i plug the case in to charge the first one blinks and after a while all four blink and it stops charging. What am i doing wrong?!?!
The phone charges before the case. After the phone charges then the case will charge. All 4 lights will be lit once it is charged fully. I charged mine overnight to make sure it charged fully.

Can the case itself be charged, or do you need to repurchase it?
You can charge the case itself but you will have to take the phone out
