Describes the Lithium Batteries available from Energizer. Lithium Battery technology is available in Battery Sizes AA and AAA.

How long should the Energizer Advanced last in an Apple Magic Mouse?

I purchased an iMac two weeks ago (Sept. 16) and the AA batteries in the (wireless) Magic Mouse have died already. I checked with a tech from Apple who suggested that it might be due to the age of the batteries, though the website indicates they should have a 10 year shelf life when not in use. And the mouse has not been used excessively.
You probably left the mouse ON all the time. This is usually what happens to people who have similar problems. I would use a rechargeable battery if I was too lazy to wire in a USB power cord (which I would probably do but I have their magic pad.)
