I got this for Christmas, Light worked for a couple of days then quit. New battery did not fix it. I had to wipe out the inside, and it worked for a bit. It is ridiculous that I need clean out the inside each time I want to use for five minutes.

The light flickers and dims for no apparent reason. Why?
It doesn't matter if I have new batteries in it our not, the flashlight continues to flicker and is unreliable. The light is less than six months old.
