Lithium ROCKS!

jolynne I use a Lithium battery in my Glucose meter and it lasts for a very long time. That helps me store more results and stores them long enough so my doctor can download the results.

Is there a cross reference chart for the two letter manufacture date code, or can you explain the date code scheme? Mine has a "PA" stamp.
That kind of c ode sounds like a state where it was manufactured.

New expiration date format?
I was looking for the 2-letter code without success.
Instead, I found the following code: "PD0411 ED0419"
Does this mean that my battery was manufactured in April 2011 and expires in April 2019?

I assume the PD stands for "Production Date" and the ED is "Expiration Date", so there should be another 2 letter code somewhere else on the package- So YES, you are correct .
