Can other batteries be used?
If the power goes out for a long time, and the batteries in this lose their charge, is there any way to use "regular" (i.e. alkaline) batteries in this?
Unless the product has changed recently, the previous answers both are incorrect, at least in part. It was easy to remove and replace the battery (just one screw) in my Weatheready Compact Rechargeable LED Light. However, Energizer doesn't sell this button-style cell. The flashlight I opened up came with a Varta CP300H rechargeable NiMH battery, available online for $3 and up.
