bren47 i have multiple electronic devices that require batteies as well as my grandkids and i never purchase anything but enegizer batteries plain and rechargeble and titanium for my cameras. the batteries maintain great shelf life and long lasting, i would definately recommend energizer to anyone for any of their devices.

How can I remove a stuck battery from my flashlight?
A D-cell battery is stuck in my Maglite
try heating up the maglite metal under hot water ,the metal should be more pliable ,which should make it easer for you to loosen the batterey.
