I bought this to keep in the car. Light output is great and runs on lithium batteries as well. Very well crafted. Tailcap click switch has a very good feel and the glass lens is so much better than the plastic ones that come on Maglights. I think the quality is on par with my Jetbeam and Fenix lights. You can't go wrong for $15 bucks. The only place I have seen that carries this light is Target.

The light flickers and dims for no apparent reason. Why?

It doesn't matter if I have new batteries in it our not, the flashlight continues to flicker and is unreliable. The light is less than six months old.
Sometimes you have to stretch out the spring that retains the batteries. Very easy to do. Happens on alot of brands of flashlights.
