Solved not-working problem

I had the same problem as the one star ratings and got it to work. While the AA battery adaptor clearly shows all batteries having (+) side up, I noticed that the directions for using larger batteries shows one having the (-) side up, so I tried rotating that one battery and the light worked. So the problem is that the AA adaptor seems to be labeled incorrectly.

How to get the lantern to work

The batteries are in the correct location and I still can't get the lantern to turn on. I have put in new batteries and it still doesn't work. What else can I do to get it to turn on?
